PIVOTAL
Animal Rehabilitation
During an initial assessment I will be getting to know you and your animal for the first time. I need to be thorough with my assessment to ensure I miss nothing. An initial assesment proceeds as follows:
-
Static Assessment (standing animal still)
-
Dynamic Assessment (walk and trotting in a line)
-
Manual Assessment (assessing tissues and structures)
-
Treatment (massage, stretching, electrotherapies etc)
-
Treatment Plan
-
Demonstration of required exercises
After the treatment I will discuss the areas of concern and how the plan will target them. We will develop a manageable plan and discuss further appointments.
