INITIAL CONSULTATION

During an initial assessment I will be getting to know you and your animal for the first time. I need to be thorough with my assessment to ensure I miss nothing. An initial assesment proceeds as follows:

  • Static Assessment (standing animal still)

  • Dynamic Assessment (walk and trotting in a line)

  • Manual Assessment (assessing tissues and structures)

  • Treatment (massage, stretching, electrotherapies etc)

  • Treatment Plan

  • Demonstration of required exercises

After the treatment I will discuss the areas of concern and how the plan will target them. We will develop a manageable plan and discuss further appointments.
